Tendonitis

Tendonitis is inflammation of the tendon. Most common locations for tendonitis are knees, shoulders, elbows and wrists. Most common names of tendonitis are tennis elbow and shoulder swimmer. Symptoms include pain and swelling. Tendonitis is caused by injury but most common cause is repetitive motion via a job or hobby or sports. Diagnosis is made by history taking and examination. Treatment is usually anti-inflammatory and physical therapy.
