    • STD and other blood tests
    • EKGs
    • IV fluid treatment
    • Onsite X-rays
    • Stitches and other wound care

When you have a non-life-threatening condition and need a same-day doctor appointment with no wait time, MyDoc Urgent Care can help regardless of your age and medical needs.

WHAT IS A DOT PHYSICAL?

A Department of Transportation (DOT) physical is required for many DOT workers to ensure they’re healthy enough to perform daily job duties. Your doctor goes over your medical history and gives you a thorough examination to complete the physical. You’ll need:

    • Your driver’s license
    • A $99 payment
    • A list of medications you’re taking
    • Your application

Once you’ve passed your physical exam, Dr. Salib signs off on the required paperwork so you can begin or continue working at your DOT job.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING A SAME-DAY DOCTOR APPOINTMENT?

During each same-day visit at MyDoc Urgent Care, Dr. Salib or another board-certified professional goes over your medical history and completes an exam the same day you schedule an appointment or walk in. Dr. Salib may also:

    • Order blood tests or X-rays to make a diagnosis
    • Prescribe medications as needed
    • Stitch up and treat wounds
    • Refer you to other medical professionals as needed
    • Fill out the appropriate paperwork for sports or DOT physicals

If you experience signs or symptoms of a more serious, life-threatening health problem such as loss of consciousness, severe chest or head pain, difficulty breathing, severe blood loss, or serious car accident injuries, the nearest emergency room may be more appropriate.

MyDoc Urgent Care accepts most major insurances, works with workers’ compensation patients, and is very affordable for cash-paying patients.

When you’re ready for a same-day doctor appointment without long wait times or the expense of an emergency room, walk right into MyDoc Urgent Care or use the online scheduling tool today.
